There’s nothing that will physically stop the driver from unplugging the CarSmart device, but the administrator will receive an instant notification.

How accurate are your GPS tracking devices?

CarSmart uses lightning fast 4G signal, so wherever there is cell service, CarSmart will transmit fleet monitoring data in real time. When cell service fails CarSmart uses satellite coverage as a back-up, though accuracy may be reduced. However, it will still collect location data, and upload it to your PrimeTracking account as soon as signal is restored.
